The Many Faces of COVID-19-Associated Cerebrovascular Disease: A Case Series

The respiratory virus SARS-CoV-2, responsible for the multi-system illness known as COVID-19 and resulting global pandemic of 2020, is increasingly recognized  for its ability to cause cerebrovascular complications. This series four cases from a single institution during height presented illustrate virus’s uniquely diverse pathophysiology corresponding clinical radiologic manifestations. As no neurologic manifestation specific SARS-CoV-2 has been identified, it remains upmost importance that clinicians radiologists alike maintain high index suspicion these complications, especially when neurological findings present in young or otherwise atypical demographics.
